Office Lobby Upgrade

This is based on a real project I worked on while at Chang Architecture – Except that pictured here is my own personal take on the re-design of this lobby. A certain manufactuer of solar panels with an office based in San Jose was looking to upgrade their lobby. To emphasize the green-energy and solar aspects, an existing skylight was re-centered in the lobby and a living plant-wall was installed. The wood slat ceiling gives order and direction to the space.
