About Me

Benjamin Rowe AIA

Principal –

Licensed Architect: C-39191

I received my degree in architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture + Design in San Diego in 2012. In my early years working, my growth was fostered in a small commercial architecture firm where I was the only employee working for a driven, creative and organized mentor. This one-on-one mentorship format gave me an in-depth, rigorous and well-rounded training. I’ve been licensed as an architect in the state of California since 2021.

I try to approach architecture from the inside out. The human experience is the primary concern when thinking about architecture as something that we use everyday. Architecture can express who we are and can also exerts an influence over us, therefore the design of the spaces we inhabit matters.

My strength as an architect comes from unique, and creative solutions and carefully crafted, intimate design. I am delighted when I discover beneath the complex surface, an elegantly simple concept to explain why things are the way they are. I’m perfect if you need a fresh set of eyes or some new ideas.

I am a Southern California native, currently living in northern California and have been interested in architecture ever since  my family began remodeling our home starting when I was in middle-school. I consider myself an artist. I own three calico cats.
